
CLUB OVERVIEW:
The Down Da Bayou Redfish Club
(DBRC) will host three invitational tournaments throughout the year. A fourth
championship tournament will be held at the end of the tournament cycle. The club
will meet annually to discuss club direction and agenda. Fees collected will be
used to promote the club and to host tournaments and to provide larger payouts
for tournaments.

TOURNAMENT RULES:
1.
Entry
Fee for tournaments shall be $75 per boat.
2.
All
State, Federal, and Local Laws apply.
3.
Only
members in good standing may participate.
4.
Fish
must be caught on artificial lures. No bait is allowed.
5.
No one
will be allowed to leave the designated launch by any other means than by boat.

size for redfish shall be 16” to 27” Tail pinched

Every
effort must be made to keep fish alive. A 4 oz deduction will be assessed for
each dead fish.
9.
A team
can only bring two fish to the scales. It is the team's responsibility to
determine which fish is heaviest. If it is determined that a fish is too long,
the team will be allowed to weigh in one more fish. If it is determined that
the second fish is too long, the team will not be allowed to weigh in another
fish. Only one fish will count.
10. A tie shall be broken by the first team to
return to designated launch
11. The President is the Weight Master and Tournament
Director of all club tournaments. His decisions are final.
12. Two or three fisherman allowed per boat.
13. There will be a championship at the end of
the regular season. To qualify for the championship, you must fish or prepay
for all three regular season tournaments.
14. Life Jackets must be worn while engine is in
operation.

TERMS AND CONDITONS:
1. The risk of injury and/or death is possible at all DBRC events. The tournament director, board members and/or club members are not responsible for any injuries and/or deaths that occur.
2. You assume all risk, known and unknown, even if they occur due to the negligence of the releasers or any others, and you accept all responsibility.
3. You agree with all conditions set forth by your participation in the DBRC events. You have the right to remove yourself from any event if you feel the situation warrants such action. By participating in an event you acknowledge the potential for danger in an event that is subject to unpredictable weather conditions and related events.
4. You hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless Down DA Bayou Redfish Club director, board members, sponsors, member and all that may be associated with these events, with respect to any and all injury, disability and death or loss or damage to person(s) or property, whether arising from the release's otherwise to the fullest extent of the law.
5. It is the responsibility of the participant in every DBRC event to obtain his or her own insurance.
6. You give your consent to the DBRC to use any picture taken at a DBRC events to be used by the DBRC to promote the club and/or DBRC events.
7. You have read the release of liability and assumption of agreement and fully understand the terms and conditions.
8. You understand that you have given up substantial rights by agreeing and agree to it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
